Parrys Leather World was established in 2015 with a single mission: to make heirloom-quality leather goods accessible to everyday people around the world. The founders recognized that mass-produced bags, made from PU or bonded leather, were designed to be replaced — not kept. The workshop controls every step of production — from raw hide selection to cutting, stitching, dyeing, burnishing edges, and fitting hardware. This vertical integration means Parrys can maintain consistent quality standards, offer fair wages to its artisans, and avoid the quality compromises that come with outsourcing.

Materials We Use

Parrys Leather World uses 100% full-grain goat leather as its primary material. Full-grain leather is the highest grade of leather available — it retains the complete grain surface, including the natural markings and pores, which makes it stronger, more breathable, and more durable than corrected-grain, top-grain, or bonded alternatives. Over time, full-grain leather develops a patina — a natural sheen that makes each bag uniquely personal to its owner.

For butterfly chairs and footstools, Parrys also uses buffalo leather and cowhide, selected for their thickness, durability, and structural integrity under regular use. Hardware is solid brass or antique brass — no zinc alloy or plastic fittings.
